Pink offers fans a behind the scenes glimpse at her life in her newly released “Whatever You Want” video. The 38-year-old selected the track as the third single to her recent LP, Beautiful Trauma. She rolled out the video as an exclusive to Apple Music users yesterday (March 1), and it has since made its way to other streaming services. In it, she offers viewers an unfettered opportunity to see what she has been up to while preparing for her tour and engaging in other promotional responsibilities.
The romantic video does more than showcase the life of one of pop’s most in-demand artists. It also highlights the special bond between the superstar and her family. Her husband, Carey Hart, and their children, Willow Sage and Jameson Moon, make many appearances throughout. It is particularly interesting to see how her family is heavily engaged with Pink’s creative process.
They were all present throughout the planning and implementation of events such as her performance at the Super Bowl, and there is nothing cuter than watching Pink learn choreography while balancing Jameson in her hands. Intercut between these precious moments are scenes of the superstar performing the hit on a stage. Buoyed by its endearing video, “Whatever You Want” will hopefully take off on the charts. Although the LP’s lead single, “What About Us,”broke into the top 20, its title track stalled in the lower rungs of the charts. Pink’s latest bottles all of her best qualities and will hopefully soar higher with the right promotional push.
