Jason Derulo returned with a hook-filled banger called “Tip Toe” in early November. The third single (after “Swalla” and “If I’m Lucky”) from his upcoming 777 album got off to a flying start, racking up close to 25 million streams on Spotify in its first month. Those numbers will only grow with the arrival of the sexy, choreography-filled video. The clip begins with the 28-year-old dancing in a jungle (I’m pretty sure they used the same set as Pitbull’s recent video) surrounded by women in leopard costumes.
From there, our hero heads to Japan where he turns up with a group of geishas. That’s when French Montana appears for a cameo and the collaborators pose next to near-naked women in body paint. It will be interesting to see if the visual is as warmly embraced as “Swalla,” which YouTube recently named the 8th most-watched music video of 2017. It certainly has all the right elements. Jason will, no doubt, perform the song on his 777 World Tour, which kicks off in Barcelona on February 26, 2018. Watch up top.
