Nick Jonas is getting in the holiday spirit: the singer has revealed plans to drop some new Christmas songs this year. With upcoming releases also on the way from Hanson, Sia, Lindsey Stirling and more, there will be no shortage of fresh Christmas music for the festive season.
«There’ll be a lot of new music [released], including some Christmas music coming towards the end of this year,» Jonas said in a recent interview with MTV News.
«Original Christmas stuff,» he clarified.
Jonas even hinted at what fans can expect from the new tunes by elaborating on his Christmas songwriting decisions: «It’s kind of challenging because you think, you know, do I want to do the traditional Christmas vibe, or give it a flip and do something different with it? I took that approach. I wrote songs that kind of sound like they could be on any one of my records, but they happen to be about Christmas.»
