Selena Gomez is celebrating both the release of her new album, Rare, this weekend and the upcoming opening of her latest film project, Dolittle.
Gomez voices the character of a giraffe named Betsy in the movie, which hits theaters on Jan. 17. The film’s premiere was held on Saturday (Jan. 11) in California.
«Had so much fun at the @dolittlemovie premiere this morning,» she wrote on Instagram, where she posted a handful of snapshots from the event: posing on the red carpet in a romantic Givenchy gown, getting comfortable in the theater with a box of popcorn and making the most of a photo opp with a giraffe topiary.
Dolittle, starring Robert Downey Jr., is an adaptation of Voyage of Doctor Dolittle, the 1920s children’s book by Hugh Lofting.
