J.Lo took to her Instagram to share a message in Spanish about the moments that she shared with the star in Las Vegas.
«Watching this great artist #juangabriel’s concert which I was with in Las Vegas a couple of years ago…I remember feeling that besides his marvelous talent, what touched me was that his spirit was so generous and that he had a love and grace that was incomparable,» she wrote. «I love you and thank you for all that you’ve given us through your music and life! Her ex-husband Marc Anthony also shared the same sentiment as he also shared a post about the iconic star.
«Today the world of Latin music has lost a giant, an icon, and a legend that marked my life forever. He is responsible that my career took the route that it did from the very first day,» Marc wrote in Spanish. «I am enormously saddened by the loss of one of my heroes. A life bigger than life itself dimmed today, but your music and legacy will stay with us forever. Rest in peace, my light.»

The news continued to overwhelm the singer when he took the stage hours later, and he couldn’t hold back his tears.
